Rick's Golf Course Features

Oct 8/06 - The WEG - This Thanksgiving weekend in Ontario turned out to be one of the nicest long weekends of the entire year, so it was a perfect opportunity to drive down the road to Grey Silo in Waterloo and take some photos. By the time Judy and I got to the course it was just about 5 pm -- not long enough to play a round -- so we decided to just walk as much of the course as we had time for. Grey Silo is a fairly new course -- opened just four or five years ago -- and is owned by the City of Waterloo. So it is spartan when compared to your typical new private or semi-private course these days. But it has a beautiful setting, is nicely designed, and is well-maintained by the muni staff.
